At romesilore, we want you to feel confident in your investment. Our scenario modeling programs are designed to provide genuine value, but we understand that sometimes circumstances change. This policy outlines how we handle refund requests fairly and transparently.
Please read through these guidelines carefully. They explain when refunds are available, what our process looks like, and how long everything typically takes. If something isn't clear, reach out to our team directly.
Refund Eligibility Criteria
Not every situation qualifies for a refund, which helps us maintain the quality and sustainability of our programs. We've outlined specific scenarios where refunds are available below.
Early Withdrawal Window
Full refunds are available if you withdraw within the first 14 days of enrollment and have accessed less than 15% of the course materials. This gives you a chance to explore whether the program fits your learning style.
Technical Access Issues
If technical problems on our end prevent you from accessing course content for more than 72 consecutive hours, and we can't resolve the issue promptly, you may qualify for a partial or full refund depending on progress.
Program Cancellation
If we cancel a scheduled program or cohort before it begins, you'll receive a complete refund within 10 business days. You'll also have the option to transfer your enrollment to a future session at no additional cost.
How the Refund Process Works
Submit Your Request
Send an email to help@romesilore.world with your full name, enrollment details, and a brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund. Include your order number if you have it handy. We'll acknowledge receipt within one business day.
Review and Assessment
Our team reviews your request against our eligibility criteria. We check your enrollment date, course access history, and any technical support tickets you may have filed. This usually takes 3 to 5 business days. You might hear from us if we need additional information.
Decision Notification
You'll receive a clear email explaining whether your refund has been approved, partially approved, or declined. If approved, we'll outline the refund amount and expected timeline. If declined, we'll explain the specific reasons and discuss alternative options that might help.
Processing and Payment
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to your original payment method. Credit card refunds typically appear in 5 to 10 business days, while bank transfers can take up to 15 business days depending on your financial institution.
Important Considerations
- Refunds are not available after you've completed more than 25% of a course or program, regardless of satisfaction level
- Certificate programs have different refund windows due to their intensive nature and limited cohort sizes
- Payment plan enrollments follow the same eligibility rules, but refunds only apply to payments already made
- Corporate group enrollments may have customized refund terms outlined in your organization's agreement
- Once you've downloaded course materials or completed graded assignments, those sections count as accessed for refund calculations
- Partial refunds are prorated based on the amount of content accessed at the time of your withdrawal request
Common Refund Scenarios
Medical or Family Emergency
Keiko enrolled in our autumn 2025 financial modeling cohort but experienced a family emergency during week two. She had attended one live session and completed two modules. After submitting documentation, she received a 75% refund and the option to rejoin a future cohort without re-enrollment fees.
Changed Career Direction
Dariusz completed six weeks of an eight-week program before deciding to pursue a different career path. Because he had accessed 75% of the content, including completing several graded projects, his enrollment didn't qualify for a refund under our standard policy. We offered him extended access to the materials instead.
Technical Platform Issues
Bronwyn couldn't access our learning platform for five days due to server issues that affected Canadian users in January 2025. Despite our technical team's efforts, the problem persisted beyond our 72-hour threshold. She received a full refund plus a 20% discount code for future enrollment once we resolved the infrastructure problems.
Job Relocation Abroad
Henrik received an unexpected job offer requiring immediate relocation to a time zone that made live session attendance impossible. He had completed 20% of the coursework. While this didn't fall within our standard refund window, we approved a 50% refund considering the unusual circumstances and short notice timeline.
Payment Methods and Processing Times
Refunds are always returned to your original payment method. We can't split refunds across multiple payment sources or issue refunds to different accounts or cards than you used for enrollment.
Credit card refunds typically process within 5 to 10 business days after approval. The exact timing depends on your card issuer's processing schedule. Bank transfers and direct debit refunds can take 10 to 15 business days due to additional verification steps required by Canadian financial institutions.
If you paid through a corporate purchase order or invoice, refunds return to your organization's accounts payable department directly. These can take up to 30 days depending on your company's internal processes.
For payment plans, we refund only the amounts you've already paid. Future scheduled payments are cancelled immediately upon refund approval. If you used multiple payment methods across installments, each refund goes back to its original source.
Non-Refundable Items and Services
Some components of our programs are non-refundable due to their nature or the resources involved in providing them. These include one-on-one mentorship sessions that you've already attended, personalized portfolio reviews that our instructors have completed, and physical materials that have been shipped to your address.
Certification exam fees are separate from course enrollment costs and follow their own refund policies set by our accrediting partners. If you've scheduled and attended a certification exam, those fees aren't refundable even if you're eligible for a course refund.
Administrative fees for payment plans, late enrollment processing, or rush certification requests are non-refundable. These cover actual costs we incur regardless of whether you complete the program.
Special Circumstances and Exceptions
We know that life sometimes throws unexpected challenges your way. While our standard policy covers most situations, we review requests that fall outside these guidelines on a case-by-case basis.
If you're facing circumstances like serious illness, family emergencies, or other significant life events that prevent you from continuing with your enrollment, reach out to us directly. We'll work with you to find a fair solution, which might include extended access, course transfers, or partial refunds that fall outside our typical framework.
Documentation helps us process these exceptional requests more quickly. Medical certificates, employer letters, or other relevant paperwork allows us to make informed decisions without lengthy back-and-forth conversations.
